The important file is "content.xml", and that file was corrupted (CRC error), in windows I couldn't even extract it. Rename *.zip to *.ods. It's ODT The answer has been provided. Hi there!

The file 'file.odt' could not be repaired and therefore cannot be opened. When I got it installed, The xml file was so slow I didn't know if it had frozen ( which it did several times) or was just taking that long with Version Incompatibility.
