Following Error Limit Exceeded

Just a good ol' boy, never meanin' no harm. At the end of a tool path I get "MSG PM Following Error Limit Exceeded" I preceded to the "main page" and it is indicated as error "#83 Lube Pump Interval" Register today. I receive the following error message: 'Activation Failed: Activation limits exceeded.' What am I doing wrong?
Have DX-32 controller on 1995 Discovery 308. At least that seems to be what causes the problem on my machine. From basic to advanced features. Then I started putting in values for P until I got motion and had overshoot.
TOTALLYRC: Hi Rich,I just replaced my computer on my DSPMC powered mill so it is still fresh in my memory. Usually happens when machine goes to make a Z rapid move. Find somebody to come an "ball bar" your mill. So others can write it down of find it easily in a search.
So what else should I look at and how the heck does the controller KNOW when the pump as run or not.
