- that error was really annoying for the last 8 months.
- I would suggest starting with running a permissions check (Disk Utility, select your HD, run the verify permissions) which may help you.
- You need to run a program once with administrator rights to finish the update or installation of a program if that program doesn't include a special manifest to request those permissions.

I deleted the files "extensions.ini, extensions.cache, extensions.rdf" per the instruction linked to by dickvl, but that didn't do the trick. Seriously bad coding somewhere.

Check This Out After it crashed, I uninstalled Sunbird from the Control Panel, removed the Sunbird directory and installed 0.3a1 again.
