Final Cut Pro 5.1 General Error 41
I tried making up a new timeline, checking my scratch discs have enough space (they do) and even trying other settings, always get the same error. Is this a project you got from someone else ? 4. thanks for your help! Copy the project in a external hard drive, save as another name, burn into a dvd....anything works. Search for Media Manager and follow the guidelines carefully. Software Instruments (6 Tutorials - Save $32.18)Logic Pro X : 4.
If they don't match exactly, choose Apple > Software Update in your 15"wait for the list of suggested updates and install the ones you need. Lost password/username? Sometimes a render file becomes corrupt ( bad spot on disc, general file disc corruption) and sometimes re-rendering will fix everything, or at least, point to where the problem lies. i recently moved on from my G4 Mac and got a beautiful iMac 27″. - When I open up Final Cut the only source to pull from or save to is the Macintosh HD.
- I've tried to turn the auto-save feature off, but it doesn't work.
- i opened up FCP immediately following the update and i noticed the FCP version was no 5.1.4…..bingo!!!

FCP uses that space to temporarily buffer what it writes, if the scratch disc is the same that the media files and project are on, it could be the problem. I have registered both products on the Apple website.

updated and is working other than audio goes away after opening soundtrack pro and going back to fcp, no audio in fcp. That is how all of us learn. If anyone has some sort of feel for what my problem is please respond with some sort of insight. have a peek here Any ideas how I can avoid having to input my serial number EVERY time?!

I may not work at the level you are, but it helps to understand and is a good reference for other members. It would start to boot and then just stop.
