The file would not import which I thought strange. Such a hassle, especially when people hand me entire cards filled with pictures and we just want to 'look thru them on the big screen.' The error you're getting usually means a corruption of some kind, or an incomplete file (reference movie instead of self-contained, missing its source media).

Here's the story: I did a screen capture with QuickTime (most recent version as of 9/19/12) and was trying to import the .mov files that it created. Can't find sony vegas 12 on the site? You can only upload a photo or a video.
