ackL. - 2015-08-28 From that page description I would say that they only support DoP over USB in that DAC's driver, at list in Windows. Plugged the device in another USB port and WOW! I tried also installing ASIO4ALL, but nothing to do: DSD does not run, i get always the same playback error. I need to power off and on to let it display 48kHz correctly again.

When the PC is put to non-hybrid sleep, Foobar often gives the error message, but sometimes doesn't, and works properly.
ackL. - 2015-08-26 It is quite logical that all those PCM options should be unavaliable if you are outputting DSD, don't you think? Please don't fill out this field. The driver was working and I got sound, but with lots of crackles and pops. But at least I now have an Analogue Output which can be compared to my PCM DAC.Thanks for all your help thus far.Best wishes,James. 1 Print Hosted Forums foobar2000 Support -

Please don't fill out this field. Any ideas? in case of fw - can you do me a favor and try to play some non-regular PCM (e.g. 96kHz / 24bit) and tell us whether it was possible ? I read about its quality drivers and easy of use.
With the Lynx, performance has been relatively glitch free. I'd use 0.8.4. It is just a different way to transport DSD from the computer to the DAC that was designed to make it easier to implement DSD (Google it for more info). My Auzentech XFI Prelude settings is using Audio creation mode, master sampling rate: 48kHz , bitmatch enabled, encoder dolby digital live enabled.
